After the opening kick-off for Super Bowl XLI, with the Chicago Bears running it all the way back for a touchdown, I thought we might be on to a good game. Then everyone started fumbling the football, throwing interceptions, even missing extra points. I believed that the Colts were going to need more than just a good quarterback, which is why my hopes were for the Bears, who seemed to have a decent all-around team on both offense and defense, along with the bias I have coming from the Chicagoland area. But Peyton (sp?) Manning really connected with all the players and threw a fairly-solid game. As they always say with the Chicago Cubs, “Maybe next year.”
