Sunny Saturday / Wedding Day

I was coming home from my grocery shopping about 8:30 AM when I saw a clear blue sky with a low band of cumulus clouds hovering at the horizon over Lake Michigan. I had to get my camera from home. Fortunately, home was nearby. Unfortunately, the sun was rising so quickly, that the blue of the sky quickly faded to a paler blue. But I wanted to share what I did get. What I have included is a panoramic shot where three photos were “stitched together.” Don’t know why the picture won’t enlarge after clicking on it though.

This afternoon is the wedding of my two colleagues from work. Luckily, they work in two different departments. I’ve known both of them since they started their time with the community as interns. Hard to believe it’s been over 6 years already.
