Who knew that there would be so many Project Runway fans in the area? At the one o’clock hour yesterday, show producers and crew from Project Runway came to do on-camera interviews with fans to include in their upcoming “world-wide advertising campaigns.” Participants were encouraged to bring signs that show their support for the show, hosts and favorite designers.
I forgot my sign at home (wink), so I created a quasi-catwalk through the crowd, strutting one of the vintage-inspired suits from Jason Wu’s glamorous new couture collection. Swathed in layers of peach and champagne silk satin, I showed (shocked?) the crowd right off the bat. 
It brings to mind that fateful Halloween in 1978 when I was last swathed in layers of champagne cotton. What was I thinking??!! All kidding aside, I did not attend the Project Runway event and I HIGHLY doubt Heidi Klum or Tim Gunn were in attendance. But our bravest were sporting Tim Gunn’s latest designer uniforms.
