Chicago’s Pride Parade is Sunday, June 28th. Hopefully it will be all sunshine and warm weather. The last three weeks have been unseasonably cold. 
I will be attending the parade with a bunch of friends from WSGA. I’ve been trying to get them to consider marching in a future parade and not too many were too keen on the idea. I marched in Chicago’s Pride Parade about five years ago, which was a lot of fun. But it turns out to be such a short parade when your marching in it compared to when you’re “on the sidelines” watching the parade. We also had the experience of marching by the Fred Phelps clan. Not a pleasant experience.
This year’s theme celebrates the 40th anniversary of Stonewall.

Here’s hoping you have nice weather for the parade. The weather here has been HORRIBLE! We’ve had more rain this month than the entire month of June last year.
